Sellacril Impreso is a transparent and colourless varnish, based on high strength acrylic resins, developed to seal and protect all types of concrete or printed concrete surfaces.
Sellacril Impreso, after its application generates a colourless high gloss surface film, which increases the mechanical strength of the pavement, while restoring and improving its tone, reduces the fouling tendency and eliminates dust generation.
The high quality of the polymers used in its formulation, together with the solvents used and their low viscosity, allows Sellacril Impreso to have a high penetration capacity on the pavement. In this way, the product enters the pavement pores, chemically anchoring itself to the aggregates and cementitious components, reinforcing its internal structure and compacting the material.
Sellacril Impreso is suitable for both indoor and outdoor application on moderate to high absorption capacity surfaces, whether vertical or horizontal.
Sellacril Impreso is suitable for use on all types of concrete, stone or brick surfaces in general, especially for all types of absorbent surfaces where a glossy finish, protection and increased mechanical strength are desired.
It can therefore be used in:
- Printed concrete floors.
- Polished concrete.
Mode of Application
Sellacril Impreso is a ready to use product, so it does not need to be diluted before applying. Before applying Sellacril Impreso, make sure that the surface is clean, dry, free of greases, oils, crumbly particles, etc. and, in short, free of any contaminants that may reduce the adhesion capacity of the product. Also, the surface must have a residual humidity of less than 4%.
Then, apply Sellacril Impreso using a brush, a roller or an airless sprayer, ensuring the generation of a uniform layer and a correct overlap between panels. It is not recommended to apply layers with a thickness greater than 150 um wet.
Finally, let the product dry. (For indoors, it is recommended to maintain the maximum possible ventilation, to facilitate drying.)
